lisbon: day in vacation

Last April, I had the pleasure of being invited to photograph a wonderful family of five in the enchanting streets of old Lisbon. It was a day filled with happiness, I can tell you!

The kids’ eyes widened with excitement as they discovered what the old and beautiful Lisbon had to offer.

I discreetly blend in the family, trying to capture the authenticity of their interactions, the personalities, the laughter, the crying, and the connections between family members. It’s the little things that speak’s volumes about their love and bond.

I focused on preserving the raw and unfiltered moments never asking for anything, just letting them been themselves, just watching the children’s carefree spirits and relaxed parents enjoying the visit. With no problem in getting dirty, actually that its was all another level of fun.

The images became a time capsule, serving as a visual narrative of their memorable day in Lisbon, memories of how they experienced it instead of how they looked!

Looking back at that photoshoot, I can’t help but smile. It was a privilege to witness the family’s genuine experiences and to document their unique connection to such a captivating city. The session resulted in a collection of images that will forever remind them of their amazing adventure in old Lisbon and for me a @thisisreportagefamily story award to remind me of what I really really love to do.
